Three tripod mount screw holes provide flexible mounting options. 85 VR model has a dielectric high-reflective, multilayer prism coating on the roof prism for the brightest view possible. Both models have phase-correction-coated roof prisms for high resolution. VR function automatically turns off after 30 minutes, preserving battery power. Approximately 17-hour battery life on alkaline batteries; 31-hour battery life on lithium batteries. Uses four AA batteries (not included).
