Second, the Lockdown, a sliding hopper lid and latching access door keeps the craftiest intruders from feed and electronics. Lastly, the entire exterior of the feeder is sealed up like a tank, offering no exposed wiring or openings of any kind, so you know your feeder will keep working. The weatherproof hopper is made of 18-ga. steel and its powder-coated and silicone-rubberized undercoating keeps moisture out.
