Our chicory blend is highly digestible and carries a protein level that ranges anywhere between 15 and 30 percent making it a preferred crop for deer forage. This nutritious broadleaf herb develops a deep tap-root that prefers loamy, well-drained ground, yet is tough enough to tolerate acidic soil, withstand drought and crowd out potential weed competition. Includes Micro-Boost for enhanced color, metabolic rate and plant growth. If blending with one or more plant types the weight of chicory blend will vary between 2 lbs., 3 lbs. and 4 lbs. for one acre of crop. Plant at a depth between 1/4 and 1/2. Made in USA.
