Penn International VS Big Game Special Saltwater Conventional Reels Penns International V series of big-game reels gives you a full range of fish-fighting power and performance. The 70VS, 50VSW and 30VSW were engineered to handle billfish, tuna and sharks with the convenience of one-touch shifting to instantly switch from high-gear retrieves to low gear. A double-disc drag with a full 150 quadrant gives you the power you need to tire the hardest-charging fish. The 80VSW will tackle marlin, shark and large tuna. It uses a double-disc drag with Penns new Dura-Drag - which uses the same material as that found in the transmissions of racing cars. The 16VS is built for light-line pursuits, inshore and offshore. The two-speed International II has the brute size and raw power for the biggest fish. The second gear provides the torque to pull up fish who have decided to nose-dive for the ocean floor. All have machined-aluminum frames.
