Cabela's CGR Fiberglass Fly Rod We had taken our CGR Fiberglass Fly Rod series off the shelves, but you liked them so much you asked us to bring it back. Originally released in celebration of our 50th Anniversary and back by popular demand, were extremely proud to reintroduce a line of rods with both classic aesthetics and contemporary performance. Our CGR series matches the deep, full-flexing actions of traditional fiberglass fly rods, plus it improves on them with high-grade components and the latest in rod engineering. These three-piece E-glass models excel at delicate presentations and tight, short-range casting. Besides having new blank colors and thread wraps, the finishing touches include high-grade cork handles with model-specific grips and spigot ferrules. This new series offers the five original models with the addition of a 62, 2-weight rod. 5/6- and 7/8-weight rods feature fighting butts. 7/8-weight features a saltwater reel seat. All models include a nylon rod case.
