A stiff core and supple coating provides maximum shooting ability with minimal line-to-guide friction. Built into the super-slick coating are microscopic air bubbles for added casting ease and superb flotation. All tapers are designed according to the working distances normally associated with fishing a particular line weight. Lower line weights feature a longer front taper than other lines and an overall head length matched to shorter casts normally made with these weight lines. Higher line weights have shorter front tapers with longer body lengths to aerialize more line. This Weight Forward F/S II line has a 1-1/2 to 2 per second sink rate. Made in USA.
