The superior construction includes a large-capacity, machine-forged double-anodized Duralumin U-shaped spool that helps you cast deep to suspended fish and throw beyond the rocks at the wharf. The strong one-piece, die-cast aluminum frame and graphite sideplates are outfitted with a right-side aluminum tension knob with an audible clicker and a lightweight, bowed carbon-fiber reel handle with Lews custom paddle knobs. Externally adjustable six-pin SpeedCast Centrifugal Braking System with quick-release sideplate mechanism for easy access to the spool. The PS1 model features 10 double-shielded ball bearings with a multistop anti-reverse, while all other models have nine double-shielded ball bearings with an anti-reverse roller bearing. Carbon-composite drag system boasts 14 lbs. of drag power. Oversized titanium line guide is positioned far away from the spool for minimal friction and maximum casting performance.
